I’m a graduate student at Duke University’s Nicholas School of the Environment pursuing a Master of Environmental Management and a Master of Forestry. Specifically, my interests include sustainable forestry and forest conservation in tropical and developing countries. Chestnut trees, however, are very near and dear to my heart as I spent my senior year at the University of Virginia researching seedling rates of mortality.
I enjoy spending time outdoors and have the ultimate goal of visiting every national park in the U.S. I’m getting there
I also enjoy horseback riding and just generally playing with animals. Finally, if you don’t see me frolicking outside or furiously studying, you might find me snuggled in bed reading with my cat. Hope y’all enjoy my blog!
